Our Club’s Challenges

Established inn October 1965, we are civic-minded, adults volunteers to serve kids.
We encourage youth development, promote law enforcement, safety.
We support education and provide benevolent fellowship to those in need.

Activities

Oratorical Contests allow boys and girls to gain experience in public speaking while competing for $2,500 & $22,500 scholarships.
Essay contests allows boys and girls to improve writing skills and compete for $2,500 scholarships.
Junior Optimist Clubs (JOI) in schools offer students leadership principles, team building, and importance of community services.
Respect for Law: Teaches youth the purpose and importance of our police force.
Encourage community peace and harmony by honoring local law officials and students.
Youth Appreciation: Recognizes kids for being civic minded, acting as responsible citizens and letting them that they are recognized and appreciated.
Provide scholarships for the blind and Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students.
